Website Information
The information on this website is provided for general information only. While we aim to keep the information accurate and up to date, it should not be treated as a formal quote, building advice, engineering advice or project-specific recommendation.
Concrete work can vary depending on site conditions, access, ground preparation, drainage, slope, soil type, project size, materials, finishes and other factors. For accurate advice or pricing, please contact OL Concreting directly.
Quotes and Estimates
Any quote or estimate provided by OL Concreting is based on the information available at the time it is prepared.
A quote may be based on:
- The details you provide
- Site measurements
- Photos, plans or drawings
- Site access
- Project location
- Materials and finish selected
- Ground and preparation requirements
- Labour and equipment required
- Any known site conditions
Unless stated otherwise, a quote may be subject to change if the scope of work changes, site conditions are different from what was originally understood, extra preparation is required, access is limited, materials change, or additional work is requested.
Acceptance of Quotes
A quote is not confirmed until it has been accepted by the customer and acknowledged by OL Concreting.
Acceptance may occur in writing, by email, by text message, verbally, or through another agreed method. For some projects, a separate written agreement, deposit or approval may be required before work is scheduled.
OL Concreting reserves the right to withdraw or update a quote before it is accepted.
Pricing and Payment
Pricing will be outlined in the relevant quote, invoice or project agreement.
Unless otherwise stated, payment terms will be provided before or at the time work is arranged. Depending on the project, payment terms may include a deposit, progress payment or final payment on completion.
Invoices must be paid by the due date shown on the invoice. If payment is not received on time, OL Concreting may pause further work, delay future bookings or take reasonable steps to recover unpaid amounts.
Deposits
Some projects may require a deposit before work begins. A deposit may be used to secure scheduling, order materials, arrange equipment or cover project preparation.
Deposit terms will be explained at the time of quoting or booking. If a customer cancels after materials, labour, equipment or other costs have been arranged, reasonable costs already incurred may be deducted from any refund, where permitted by law.

OL Concreting will take reasonable steps to communicate scheduling changes where practical.

The customer is also responsible for confirming property boundaries, easements, access rights and any restrictions affecting the work area.
OL Concreting is not responsible for issues arising from incorrect boundary information, missing approvals or undisclosed site restrictions provided by the customer.
Underground Services
Before work begins, the customer should notify OL Concreting of any known underground services, pipes, cables, drainage, irrigation, septic systems or other hidden infrastructure.
Where required, service locations should be checked before excavation or preparation work begins.

- Additional materials
- Access changes
- Changes caused by unexpected site conditions
Where practical, OL Concreting will discuss variations and costs before carrying out additional work.
Concrete Finishes and Appearance
Concrete is a natural building material and may vary in appearance. Colour, texture and finish can be affected by weather, curing, materials, placement, finishing methods, site conditions and normal concrete behaviour.
Decorative concrete, exposed concrete and stamped concrete may have natural variations in colour, aggregate exposure, pattern, texture and finish. These variations are normal and do not necessarily indicate defective work.
OL Concreting will aim to complete finishes to a professional standard, but exact colour matching, texture matching or finish duplication cannot be guaranteed unless specifically agreed in writing.
Curing, Care and Maintenance
Concrete requires time to cure and should be protected after placement. Customers must follow any care instructions provided by OL Concreting.
This may include avoiding vehicle traffic, heavy loads, dragging objects, pressure washing, staining, chemicals or other impact on the concrete until it has had suitable time to cure.
OL Concreting is not responsible for damage caused by misuse, early use, poor maintenance, third-party damage, ground movement, tree roots, chemical exposure, flooding, drainage issues or other factors outside our control.
Existing Surfaces and Site Conditions
Some concreting work may involve working around existing structures, soil, drainage, slopes, old concrete, landscaping or other surfaces.
Unexpected site conditions may affect the work required, timeframe or cost. If additional work is needed due to site conditions that were not visible or disclosed when the quote was prepared, extra charges may apply.
Photos, Videos and Project Images
OL Concreting may take photos or videos of completed work for business records, marketing, website content, social media, quoting examples or portfolio use.
If you do not want photos or videos of your project used for marketing purposes, please let us know in writing.
